Emergency Care Practitioner (B.EMC)

The SA Red Cross Air Mercy Service is currently seeking an experienced Emergency Care Practitioner who is registered as such with the HPCSA.
Requirements
Must be a South African Citizen
A minimum of 2 years of operational road ambulance and ICU transfer experience
Code C1 Drivers Licence with PrDP
Aviation Healthcare Provider Course
ACLS, PALS and ITLS or equivalent
CPG updates completed if qualified before 2019
Computer literate: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Safety conscious
Duties:
Operational Paramedic on helicopter, fixed-wing and ground ambulance, quality improvement, control of medical equipment, medications & supplies, operational related functions, training, general administration, data-capturing and be prepared to participate in the co-ordination of flights and other duties as required from time to time.
Hoist operator/rescue training and operations may be required as part of normal duties.

Ability to work cooperatively in culturally diverse environments.
Reliable transport mandatory
Occupational health assessment mandatory
